HZS Racing utilizes an in house built Tri-1 Chassis.  The first Tri-1 hit the track in 1996 and now a total of four cars have been completed.  Improvements have been made to each chassis and the wins continue to prove how the well the cars are assembled and maintained.  Every one of the Tri-1 Chassis' completed has been equipped with a Hogue Racing Engines power plant, and the combination has proven to be tough on the competition throughout in Indiana and Northwest Ohio over the past decade.
