HZS Racing made its first appearance at Waynesfield Raceway Park for the 2011 season and it turned out to be a good one. Terry won his heat race from the sixth starting position over eventual track champion Zach Schroeder.
The invert put Terry on the second row for the feature event. He didn't waste any time charging to the front and engaging in a classic duel with Jerry Bowersock for the win. Both drivers swapped the lead multiple times through lapped traffic and Terry was able to come out in front and collect his second feature win of 2011.

Terry competed in the final night of racing at Limaland Motorsports Park with the championship on the line. A tough draw put Terry in the back of a tough heat race and he was only able to advance up to 5th place. The finish started him on the seventh row of the feature event. He was to drive up to finish 4th, but fell short in the championship race as Todd Sherman went on to win the race and championship.
After the feature event, Terry competed in the King of the ¼ Mile event which he qualified by virture of his feature on June 3rd. He started in the third row, but a wreck on the second lap moved Terry in the third position. By the half way point Terry passed leader Tommy Beezley and began pulling away from the field to earn his second career King of the ¼ Mile event victory worth $2000.

Terry finished 2nd at Limland Motorsports Park after leading the first 15 laps. He started on the outside front row and grabbed the lead from Casey Luedeke on the first lap and stretched his lead out over the next dozen laps. A caution on lap 13 allowed Kody Weisner to jump up on the high side of the ¼ mile and drive around Terry to lead the final 5 laps.
The 2nd place finish pulled Terry within 12 points of Todd Sherman in the championship standings with only three events left in the season.

HZS Racing returned to Limaland Motorsports Park after a two week hiatus from the 1/4 Mile. Terry started in the second row of his heat race and was able to win the event in dominating fashion. The invert put Terry on the second row of the feature.
In the feature, he moved into second place early in the event and began stalking the leader, Andy Bibler. On lap 5, Terry jumped into the lead and began pulling away from the field. He stretched his lead to nearly a straightaway over the next ten laps, but hit a large hole on the sixteenth lap and caused the right front tire to go flat, relegating him to a disappointing eleventh place finish.

After taking a week off, Terry made the trip to Attica Raceway Park for the Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals event. He was able pick up a win in the first heat race over Brian Ruhlman and drew 10th starting position for the feature. On the first lap of the main event, several cars got crossed up in from of Terry and he had to spin to miss them. After going to the tail for spinning, Terry drove up to finish fifth.
Next week, Terry will be back at Limaland Motorsports Park where he currently sits second in the championship standings.

Terry finished eighth at Limaland Motorsport Park after starting ninth in the feature event. He struggled to find forward drive on a very slick surface and was never able to advance through the field.
After four events at Limaland, Terry sits second in the championship battle behind Todd Sherman.

Terry competed in the second night of competition at Limaland Motorsports Park. on June 10. He started on the pole of his heat race and led every lap. After starting fifth in the feature, he moved up to second by the halfway point and began battling with Tommy Beezley for the lead.
With rough track conditions, Terry could only pulled alongside Tommy, and never complete the pass. On the final circuit, Terry attempted one last ditch effort to pass for the lead on the high side and nearly spun out after bouncing through a hole, but ended up finishing fourth.
After two nights of racing, Terry leads the championship standings at Limaland over Jerry Bowersock and Todd Sherman.
